Previewing George Mason at Delaware

Free live stream here (Delaware streams all their home games for free, must be nice)

The Patriots are on the road tonight against Delaware, riding a current win streak of six games and winning 11 of their last 12. VCU, Drexel, and ODU are on Mason's heels in the conference standings and these last couple of road games will be vital for CAA tournament seeding.  The competition they have beaten during this current winning streak is nothing to get excited about but they need to keep their focus as games with ODU and VCU still loom.  The Patriots last couple of road games have been ugly and they came really close to being upset by Hofstra and let JMU claw their way back from a big deficit.  Last time Mason played Delaware however they dominated every area and it would be nice to see that again tonight. Ryan Pearson and Mike Morrison overwhelmed the Blue Hens with strong play in the paint.

Delaware has regressed this season since late January from a team that looked to have some promise.  They have only won two of their last seven, one being against Towson.  At this point it would be nice to see Mason dominate a weaker team on the road, something we really haven't seen since their win at Charleston back in late December.

Right now teams like Delaware can make their season by beating Mason. I am sure Drexel would love to have that December game back when they lost to Delaware. I could be wrong but of the top 4 teams that is the only loss to a considered bottom feeder. Georgia State is still on the edge as is Northeastern. I would like to think we all would love for us to start to dominate and not have these games be a coin flip.
