Manhattan added to 2013-2014 non-conference schedule

Looks as though a game at Manhattan will be on George Mason's non-conference schedule next season:

Also there is news that Davidson is close to joining the A-10. An excellent replacement if Dayton and St. Louis due in fact leave after next season.

I don't like it. Manhattan's RPI this season was 183. Worst than all but three of our non-conference opponents this season. Conference RPI will obviously be up, but I feel GMU needs to start scheduling tougher outside the A-10 also.

The A-10 has a scale for scheduling out of conference games and you have to require a 2.0 average. Each RPI area (RPI 1-50) has a point value. Ours last year was around 2.4 so it will have to be at least equivalent to last year.
