I guess most people are voting for Sherrod as MVP because they think it stands for Mostly Variable Performances...

I'd like to vote "all of the above" for hustle. Win or lose those guys were always busting their butts.

Overall Hewitt probably gets a B/B- from me, his saving grace was the run in March, otherwise It would be about a "C" considering the weak league, blown losses, etc

He definitely looked way better in March than he did in February; almost looked like during the CBI the team FINALLY started to buy into his system.

I was there. There was some debate on whether it was flat play or poor schemes and vanilla offense and maybe being outcoached. They also got blown out the next game on the road and I did not see that. I stand by my general observation that they played hard on a regular basis. If there was game or two that prevents a literal interpretation of "always", I have no quibble with that.

The CBI success had a serious positive impact on how this past season was perceived. It also raises expectatons for next year, especially being year three of his style/system and having a very senior team. If the team is perceived as taking a step back then things could get ugly.
