City of Fairfax sends Coach Larranaga and George Mason basketball team a congratulatory letter

The council of the City of Fairfax sent a letter to Jim Larranaga and the George Mason men's basketball team congratulating them on a successful season.  And just think President Obama might be congratulating VCU at the White House in a few months, oh boy.

I don't think VCU has enough gas in the tank to go all the way. They are playing at a much higher level than they did all season long and I question that they can keep it up.

You have to wonder if the media attention and overall hype of the Final Four will get them this week. I feel like it had an affect on the Mason players in '06.

I think Butler beats them. VCU has been living off the three point shot, I don't think Butler will give them the looks to allow that to be a big factor.

Them already having played in a dome will help, but I agree with you Ryan. Brad Stevens wanted to downplay the experience factor but it will definitely matter at least in the early going.
