Cam Long to play in Lithuania

Like most George Mason basketball alums, Cam Long will be going pro overseas.  He says he is going to going to play in Lithuania and just signed a contract. Some overseas news sites mentioned he had interest from a team in Lithuania named BC Šiauliai, official website here. You'll notice he will have a familiar teammate as fellow CAA alum Denzel Bowles from JMU has also signed with this team. If not for the NBA lockout and the cancellation of the summer league in Las Vegas we might have seen Cam given more chances to audition for an NBA team.

Congrats to Cam and good luck.

No doubt he will work hard and be a welcome addition. Wish him the very best and thanks for some great memories.

I am shocked that Bowles didn't recieve more attention from the NBA.  His past at Texas A&M must have really hurt him.  He was a solid double/double every game for the Dukes.  If they would have used him more he would have been able to carry them farther.  Not that I am a JMU fan just a fan of the game.

Good luck to Cam and I hope to see him back in the states ballin' one day.
